I had planned what I really wanted to talk about this week. It is all written out, beautifully so if I might add, but it is missing one special piece which I cannot go without. It is due to that special piece that we will table it for now; it shall remain hidden for later exposure.
I wish to treat this post like an interval and an activity that I would like for everyone to participate it. If you are reading this, you are already in! I will not police anyone, but I hope that as young adults, you can hold yourself accountable to completing the activity, or risk breaking my heart.
I have a thing for quotes. I feel like there is a quote for literally everything and anything. Either that or literally anything can be quoted and used to support a statement – a movie, a song, a book, someone famous, someone not famous. People even quote themselves, I assume it brings a sense of establishment “Yeah, I sound freaking awesome” – Gugu, get my point.
We all have used quotes for various reasons such as: To justify. To substantiate. To make our high school speeches sound dope (been there, especially as either an opening or closing to the argument, extra points if it was said by Nelson Mandela or Martin Luther King). Sometimes we live by them to help us define who we are. And that’s the activity!! Simple actually.

“Late” Well I’d hope people around me would have the decency to take the time to make me look good. Lashes; brows and all.

I never had a quote until I met my fiance. This is the quote he lives by and because I look up to him I also adapted the same quote. I don’t know the origin of the quote.. it’s pretty self explanatory, but this is how I translate it – there must be a certain level of consistency in all areas of your life. It should be know that if they ask Gugu to do something, even if it’s outside her area of expertise, she will give it everything because that’s how she does everything.
