It is between You and You

“Be careful of the words you say to yourself, about yourself, because you are listening” – Unknown

I recently read this quote. Somebody put it up, I didn’t find it on my own. Whoever that person is, I need to say thank you to them. It made me remember one other quote that I used to tell myself and so many other people and that is:

“What you tell yourself first thing in the morning when you wake up and last thing in the evening before you go to sleep, are the 2 most important conversations of the day!” – Unknown

How many times in a day do you insult yourself and then afterwards say that you are only doing it so that it doesn’t hurt as much when someone insults you? For me it is continuous, never-ending and I know I need to stop but damn because I’m such an idiot it is so difficult. See I did it again.

I’m just going to keep this very short.

This funny business needs to stop. It is time, and it has always been time to hold yourself to a high esteem.

Know your worth. Know that you have no monetary figure attached to who you are, because you are priceless. Know that you are a precious gem that is so rare to find, because you are one of a kind.
